Corporation  Bank,  a  leading  Public  Sector  Bank  with  Head  Office  in Mangalore  and  pan  India presence  with  2517 branches, invites On-line applications for the  post  Manager (Law),  from  Indian Citizens as per the eligibility criteria below.

Details  of  vacancies of  Manager  (Law) -

Eligibility Criteria (as on 31.05.2017)

A) Nationality / Citizenship
A candidate must be either (i) a citizen of India or (ii) a subject of Nepal or (iii) a subject of Bhutan or (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.  A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.

B) Educational Qualification and POST QUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE (Manager (Law) Scale II)  :
a) Candidate should hold a LL.B degree from a University/Institution /Board
recognised by Govt. of India/approved by Govt.Regulatory Boards.
b) Minimum  educational  qualification should  be  either  full  time  5  year  LL.B
degree or  full  time  3  year  LL.B  degree after graduation.

EXPERIENCE :
3 years of overall Experience as follows:
a)Practice at Bar or
b)Judicial Service or
c)  As  a  Law  Officer  in  a  Scheduled Commercial Bank/Central/State
Government/Public Sector Undertaking.

SCALE OF PAY: For MMG Scale II : Rs.31705 -1145/1 –32850 -1310/10 -45950.
Apart from the above, the officer is entitled for other perks/ fringe benefits like
reimbursement of rent  for  leased  quarters, New  Pension  Scheme,
CCA  if  applicable, reimbursement  towards conveyance expenses, Telephone expenses, news paper, Entertainment Expenses, Medical expenses, Hospitalization
Expenses,  Furniture  allowance, Leave  Fare  Concession,  Gratuity,  Paid  leaves
(Casual, Privilege, Sick, Maternity leaves etc.) and other staff welfare measures like scholarship to meritorious children, medical check up, Group Insurance etc.

PROBATION  PERIOD: The  selected  candidates  will  be  on  probation  for  a  period  of  one  year from  the  date  of  joining.  Their confirmation in the Banks service will be decided in terms of provisions of the Corporation Bank Officers Service Regulations.

REQUIREMENT  OF  DEPOSIT : Candidates if finally selected for appointment shall furnish to the Bank  a  fixed  deposit  of  our  Bank in  the  name  of  the  candidate  for  a  period  of  two  years  for  Rs. 100,000.00  and  assign  the  same  to  the  Bank.    They  will  also  execute  an  agreement  to  serve  the Bank for a minimum period of 2 years after joining, failing which the Officer shall forfeit the said amount of deposit. Three months notice should be given in case any candidate opts to resign after joining the Bank.

POSTINGS : Candidates  selected  are  liable  to  be  posted  anywhere  in  India.  Not  withstanding anything  contained  in  the  internal  guidelinesor  any  other rules  in  force  in  that  behalf,  candidates selected  are  transferable  all  over  India  at  any  time  without  assigning  any  reason  there  for.  The
postings will be commensurate with the requirement of the Bank.

(a) For SC/ST/PWD candidates   -  Rs.   100.00

(b) For all others (including OBC)    -  Rs. 600.00
